Engineering
Department
Our
staff provides the complete engineering design expertise to undertake
a wide variety of assignments, from the single lot residential to
the 600 acre commercial. Typical projects include subdivision planning
and design, street improvements, water, sewer, and storm drain infrastructure,
grading plans and intersection design. We are experienced in land
development, commercial sites, public works and individual property
improvements, we have the ability to coordinate the work and the
project requirements with the client and the respective agencies.
We take pride in offering our clients the same detailed service
on their small projects as we do on their larger projects. |
Drainage Drainage studies are required for nearly all projects in the Las Vegas Valley. Our experience ranges from the one half acre residential lot to the large subdivision. In some cases thousands of acres of off-site watershed affect the property and the storm water runoff must be analyzed. Letters of Map Revision (LOMR's) to the FEMA maps are typically filed to remove projects from the Flood Insurance requirements. |

Department We are fully equipped for all aspects of engineering drafting. Site plans, presentation drawings, record of surveys, and construction drawings are prepared in a professional manner. |
Land
Surveying/Construction Staking DWYER ENGINEERING, INC. provides complete surveying services. Boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and elevation verification are part of pre-engineering design. Construction staking for the improvements is an integral part of our services. We also provide heavy construction surveying for large infrastructure projects, manufacturing, mining, highways and bridges. We prepare parcel maps, subdivision maps, boundary line adjustments, including right-of-way documents, legal descriptions, easements for access, drainage and utilities. |

A Las Vegas resident since 1987, David's experience includes design of roadway and surface improvements, drainage structures, major utility infrastructure, subdivisions, commercial property, preparation of bidding documents, specifications, estimates, construction administration, and field inspection. | Thomas L. Hellums, P. L. S., W.R.S Land Surveyor, Water Rights Surveyor: His experience includes horizontal and vertical control surveys, boundary and topographic surveys , ALTA surveys, construction staking (layout of buildings, mechanical structures, industrial construction, highway and bridge construction). Global Positioning System surveys, aerial mapping and water rights surveying. He is also a licensed Land Surveyor in Arizona & Utah. |
